Lake Cherokee

Lake Cherokee became Orlando's second locally designated historic district in 1981, covering 16 square blocks of homes and two schools around a lake once called Lake Minnie. Five 1880s homes on the west shore were built by newlyweds, giving the enclave the name Honeymoon Row, and Cherokee School dates to 1926.
